Eko Yams support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2 by solving the food system challenges in Lagos State one household at a time.
EKO 5 Million Yams
Eko 5 Million Yams Project is an agricultural project to feed Lagosians with yams cultivated in Lagos State.
The project is powered by Flap Alausa Multipurpose Co-Operative Society. It will involve the cultivation of one million tubers of yams in Epe, Lagos State.
The project will offer Lagosians yams at affordable prices – more than 40% less than the current market price of yams which is often affected by the high costs of transportation from the North.
